Counted in the 60 newest of 60 open bookkeeper adverts in South Africa that Honde has today. Use the terms that are true of you, in the advert's own words.
Bookkeeping adverts are specific about software (Pastel, Sage, Xero) and about how far you take the books: to trial balance, VAT and payroll returns, or management accounts.
Put these in a Skills section near the top, in the advert's own words, and only the ones you really have.
Under Education and qualifications: the qualification, institution, year and NQF level, then registrations and licences.
Use these in your Work experience bullets: what you did, and the result.
Show these in your profile summary and prove them in your bullets; a list of adjectives on its own convinces nobody.
Honde reads South African job boards, employers' careers pages and government vacancy circulars every morning. This page takes the open adverts whose titles match the role, newest first (up to 1,000), and counts how many mention each term from a list we keep per role, as a whole word or phrase, once per advert. The counts are refreshed every hour. A term missing from the list can still matter: always read the advert you are applying for.
Upload your CV once. Every morning Honde finds South African jobs that fit it, scores your match, and on paid plans writes a CV and cover letter tailored to each advert, using only what's in your CV. Free to start.
