REF NO: AGR 63/2026 REQUIREMENTS: Appropriate NQF level 8 or equivalent qualification with Economics and/or Agricultural Economics as major subjects.; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence. Competencies: Knowledge of the following: Agriculture and agribusiness sector; Macroeconomics and resource economics; Data handling and management; Ability to independently conduct research, and reporting. Skills in the following: Advanced computer literacy; Research; Writing and Reporting; Communication skills (Written and Verbal); Excellent networ king; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Economic and Statistical analysis; Administration; Strategic Planning. DUTIES: Perform Administration and Related Functions; Conduct Research and Analysis to Support Outputs in the Division and Inform Decision-Making; Give advice, Disseminate Research Results; Communicate with Industry Stakeholders and advise to Management; Promote i ntegrated governance to deliver on the mandate of the Department and liaison in the field of Macroeconomics and Resource economics; Support the training activities of the Department; Support sound decision-making through integrating and updating related databases.
