REQUIREMENTS: Minimum educational qualification: Basic R425 qualification (i.e. diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification (R683 plus R254) that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as Professional Nurse. Or a 4- year bachelor’s degree in nursing (R174) or equivalent qualification (R683 plus R1497) or R171 plus R1497) that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse. (This dispensation is only applicable for the posts of Clinical Programme Coordinator where it is an inherent requirement of the post, incumbent to maintain registration with the SANC). Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse. Experience: A Minimum of 7 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing. Inherent requirements of the job: Valid (Code B/EB driver’s license. Required to travel to provide support within the geographical area of the Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of Maternal -Child-Women’s Health, HIV/AIDS/STI/TB, Chronic Disease Knowledge of management and Community Orientated Primary Care (COPC). Ability to work independently and in a multi -disciplinary team. Computer literate in MS Office (Excel, Word and Power point), and MS Outlook. NOTE: No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. Candidates will be subjected to a practical/oral assessment. DUTIES: Co-ordination and implementation of the Life course approach in the substructure, w.r.t HAST/FBS and Community Based Services and establishing services linkages and service integration. Provide oversight and support to health facilities i.ro. the implement ation of programme specific quality assurance policies, 95/95/95 protocols, norms, and standards. Involvement in skills development and training to support integrated health services provision, e.g., NIMART. To strengthen and coordinate internal and external interface management with stakeholders, incl. NPOs, external partners ext. to enhance implementation of the COPC principles. Monitoring and Evaluation of service goals and targets including the collection, validation, and interpretation of statistical data. Effective implementation of appropriate projects to improve the integrated primary health care service in the substructure.
