REQUIREMENTS: Minimum educational qualification: Basic literacy and numeracy skills. Experience: Appropriate experience in a stores / warehouse environment. Inherent requirements of the job: Incumbent must be able and strong enough to lift heavy boxes. Incumbent must be able to operate loaded pallet jacks within normal limits. Willingness to undergo training to operate a Hyster/forklift. Willingness to work overtime when required. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written). A bility to work independently and in a team. Good interpersonal and communication skills. NOTE: No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. Candidates will be subjected to a written/practical and oral assessment. DUTIES: Effective and efficient receiving of stock orders from the bulk store into Dispatch. Move goods to and from different sections via a pallet jack using a goods lift or forklift/ hyster. Pack stock in boxes according to standards. Adherence to warehouse housekeeping standards.
