REF NO: HO 2026/11/78 (X2 POSTS) REQUIREMENTS: National Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or Computer Engineering (NQF level 6) as recognised by SAQA. A+, N+ and Security + will be added advantage. 1-2 years’ experience in IT and network environment. Valid driver’s licence. Competencies And Attributes: Good understanding of MS Windows 11/ Office 365 as well as the MS Office suite. Planning and organising regarding own work. Ability to operate computer hardware and software. Problem solving. Ability to work in a team. Interpersonal relationships. IT literacy. Record keeping. Typing skills. Information gathering. Communication skills. Improve efficiency with regards to own work. Be able to function autonomously. NOTE: Appointment under the Public Service Act. DUTIES: Provide desktop /server support. Install and maintain Transversal system (BAS, LOGIS, PERSAL). Detect and repair faults on LAN/WAN, PC’s, peripherals, network points and software. Monitor and connect IP Telephony and Video Conferencing. Management of resources. Management of performance information.
