Introduction: Join a leading construction company in Cape Town as a Site Agent. We are seeking a motivated civil construction professional with strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage site operations, teams, budgets, and project programmes. Flexibility to travel and work in remote locations is essential. Key Performance Areas: - Plan, implement, and monitor project programmes. - Manage site operations, construction activities, and material logistics. - Prepare accurate cost reports and forecasts. - Maintain site administration, documentation, and records. - Oversee setting out and surveying activities. - Implement and maintain SHEQ standards. - Lead, mentor, and manage site teams. - Coordinate labour, plant, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements. Education & Registration: - BSc in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification. - Professional registration with SACPCMP is essential. Candidate registration will not be considered. Experience & Skills: - Minimum 7 years’ experience in a civil construction environment. - Proven experience leading and managing large-scale civil projects. - Strong knowledge of construction processes, technical drawings, setting out, levelling, and surveying. - Experience in cost control, forecasting, reporting, and site administration. - Sound understanding of SHEQ requirements and basic industrial relations. - Strong leadership, communication, planning, and organisational skills. - Willingness to travel, work remotely, and/or relocate to Cape Town. - Ability to manage sites independently under pressure.
