About the job
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our client’s team in Bellville, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have strong SARS eFiling experience, good tax compliance knowledge and confidence managing a portfolio of clients. Key Performance Areas: - Prepare and submit income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts. - Manage and respond to SARS queries, including verifications and related correspondence. - Ensure all tax submissions and compliance matters are kept up to date. - Manage client matters on SARS eFiling. - Manage and maintain a portfolio of tax clients. - Prepare and process billing for tax services rendered. - Assist with general tax compliance matters as required. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation. Requirements: - Undergraduate degree or similar relevant qualification. - Strong working knowledge of SARS eFiling is essential. - Previous experience managing a portfolio of tax clients. - Previous articles experience would be advantageous. - Registration as a Tax Practitioner would be advantageous. - Experience with GreatSoft would be advantageous. - Experience with BSharp would be advantageous. - Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. - Good communication and client management skills.
