A well-established Accounting and Audit Firm based in Benoni is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its team. This opportunity is suited to a qualified and experienced audit professional who can manage a portfolio of clients, oversee audit engagements and provide guidance to audit staff while maintaining high technical and professional standards. Key Performance Areas: - Manage audit engagements from planning through to completion - Oversee and review audit files and working papers - Manage a portfolio of audit clients and ensure deadlines are met - Review financial statements and audit-related documentation - Apply IFRS for SMEs, ISA and relevant provisions of the Companies Act - Ensure audit work complies with applicable professional and regulatory requirements - Supervise, review and provide guidance to junior audit staff - Identify accounting and audit risks and ensure appropriate procedures are performed - Communicate with clients regarding audit requirements, findings and queries - Assist with resolving technical accounting and auditing matters - Monitor engagement progress, budgets and deadlines - Maintain high standards of quality and professional conduct Requirements: - CA(SA) qualification or equivalent relevant professional qualification - Proven audit experience within an accounting/audit firm - Experience managing audit engagements and client portfolios - Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and ISA - Good understanding of the Companies Act and relevant professional requirements - Experience reviewing audit files and financial statements - Strong leadership and staff supervision skills - Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities - Strong communication and client relationship skills - Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines Ready to Apply?
