REF NO: DOE75/10/2026 REQUIREMENTS: Three-year National Diploma (NQF 6) or undergraduate bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Financial Management / Supply Chain Management / Purchasing / Logistics/ Public Administration / Management / Finance / Accounting / Economics / Internal Audit. Three (3) years’ functional experience in Supply Chain Management at a public entity or government institution. A valid (Code B or higher) driving license. Knowledge of Education Sector will be added advantage DUTIES: Assist to coordinate the development of specifications, terms of references and administer quotation/bidding procedures. Assist to provide bid documents, maintain service provide database, analyse procurement request for quotation. Assist in generating orders for the procurement of goods and services in line with approved quotation or bid awards. Implement systems to monitor compliance and control, coordinate improved service delivery. Coordinate, consolidate and compile performance and financial reports for all procurement contracts in the Department. Develop and ensure proper record keeping systems, retention and retrieval of records are implemented in line with departmental policies. Supervise junior staff within the Contracts Management Unit. Allocate and ensure quality of work. Personnel development. Assess staff performance. Apply discipline.
