Assistant Financial Controller | Hazyview, Mpumalanga | Luxury Safari Estate Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and financially experienced Assistant Financial Controller for a luxury safari estate in Hazyview, Mpumalanga. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the management of daily financial operations and accounting functions. Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations and management accounts. Monitor budgets, expenditure and financial performance. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger transactions. Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with internal controls. Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning. Support audits and ensure adherence to relevant financial procedures. Work closely with management to improve financial efficiency and reporting accuracy. Requirements: Proven experience in a financial accounting or assistant financial controller role. Previous experience within a luxury hospitality, hotel or lodge environment would be advantageous. A relevant financial qualification in accounting or finance. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and reconciliations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail, integrity and the ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.
