Senior Chef de Partie | Wine Farm | Stellenbosch, Western Cape Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Chef de Partie for a prestigious wine farm in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing an allocated kitchen section, ensuring consistently high food quality, presentation and preparation standards while supporting the wider kitchen team. Key Responsibilities Take full responsibility for the daily operation of an allocated kitchen section. Prepare, cook and present dishes to the highest standards. Ensure consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation. Assist with menu development and the implementation of seasonal dishes. Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff where required. Ensure all food preparation is completed efficiently and on time. Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage. Maintain excellent hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards. Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Assist with training and developing junior team members. Requirements Previous experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie in a quality kitchen. Experience within a luxury hotel, restaurant or wine estate environment would be advantageous. Strong culinary skills and a passion for food. Excellent knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation. Ability to manage a kitchen section independently. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Professional attitude and a team-oriented approach.
